The diary of a Thyme and her pregnancy
There’s a shower tonight. Mom and I are just snuggling on an air mattress in my room hoping to see a little shooting star. Tonight is supposedly the world’s best meteor shower, today is my first due date. Mom tells me about Oregon and the best place to see the showers. Who knows, maybe there will be a few shooting stars to fill the sky here tonight…

Boy was today a busy day. I had a photo shoot at the vet today where they took a lovely photograph that explains what has been going on in my belly for the past 8 weeks…..apparantly there are *little Timmy’s* in there and boy are they rambunctious. Kicking and pushing, HEY quit shoving in there..that’s my BELLY you’re living in. Well it appears there are EIGHT little Timmy’s…maybe a sneaky NINTH one. Ugh, I need a nap to digest all that….
THEN Miss Audrey came by and brought BAGS of gifts…she’s too sweet. We just might have a special Timmy for her. Our house is sporty with posh blankies and towels for puppy rubs. I could use one of those right on my B*%%…..OH and she brought our FAVORITE chewies…..
So I’ve been told..anyday now. Well, it’s all about thyme and I’ll do it when I’m good and ready to….

It’s HOT!!! Try hauling around an extra 12 pounds in this heat…sheesh. Thank GOD for my good ‘ol buddy AC and his trusty pal boxfan. A lot has happened since my last entry, I’ve been busy watching mom get my apartment ready for visitors, I LOVE visitors, shopping at Petsmart and some hoity toity frufru pet place where all the ladies looked at me like I was fat….FAT????? The shame, calling a pregnant girl fat. I’ve been lounging by the pool and taking a dip on occassion. Here’s the latest picture of me at 8 weeks. Tommorow I get my picture taken of my belly…

…shower her with gifts! I introduced myself to Mr. Jason today and boy was HE nice! He brought me THREE birds. I know I should share but why? Seriously WHY? Mr. Jason was totally understanding to how unruly Bela and Potter can be and he catered to a pregnant girls needs. It’s a shame he couldn’t see Bela and Poo on a ‘good’ day, but they are so few and far between.

Mom and I went back to the vet, nope not sick, Poo needed a “checkup”. Rumor has it she’s been peeing in her bed again…bedwetter!! I am up to a svelte 56 pounds and there seems to be a ‘contest’ brewing at the doc’s office. I heard that mom promised them STARBUCKS to who guessed the closest to my upcoming litter. LITTER??? You talkin’ trash about MY puppies…shame on you! That coffee better not burn your lips!

Spending the weekend sharing a king-sized bed with the likes of Poo, Hayden, & mom I guess was worth it because people took note that I have some PRETTY puppies!!! Poo and Hayden walked away with PURPLE today and Hayden took the PURPLE yesterday!! Those are MY babies…now get out of my spot on the bed Poo!
I learned tonight how to really throw this weight around. In the kitchen figting to catch that silly moth that has wiggled into our house is me and my two teenage kids, Poo and Hayden. Well, I showed them. Mom STILL has it!! I bulldozed my way right in there, that moth was MINE! I think they are *still* looking….silly kids.

Mom took me to the vet today for a “well mommy” exam. I heard her chatting to them on the phone about my weight gain and how much longer we have to go. GO!?!?! Where we going? Doesn’t matter. I looked damn good in that lake this weekend the boys just wouldn’t stay away, I still got it. No, I didn’t get “beached”…hush yer mouth. As for my exam, let’s just say the vet says I’m “healthy”…and so are my Booberries!! Don’t you know the first rule of etiquite is to NEVER ask a girl her weight.
